Smart Technology Futures and Skills Conference

This event is not run by an association in the Tech Alliance, but may be of interest to some members.

Who is it for?

Smart Technology Futures is for all those who have to meet the challenge of emergent technologies and are wanting to thrive in a digital community. It has been formed to grow innovation, education and digital awareness in Katikati / Waihi Beach. This is the inaugural conference where the scope of Smart Technology Futures will be clarified and the innovative technologies that exist within our community will be displayed. Come and get involved!

Why Digital Futures?

The world of work is changing, with technologies seen to be as disruptive as those from the industrial revolution – hence it is called Industry 4.0. We want to contribute to developing the skills and jobs for the future within our community. We believe workshops displaying the innovation that is occurring to be important so people can adapt to the rapids of change. These technologies are exponential and we will exhibit these.
