Raising the Bar of Cyber Security in New Zealand

This is a Tech Alliance event

With a recent series of cyber attacks, it is clear New Zealand is not a safe haven when it comes to international cyber crime. With this in mind, we will bring together experts in the cyber security field to discuss:

  • The recent attacks, but also how attacks are always happening and the different forms they can take
  • How organisations can understand and quantify their risks and the potential impacts

The growing frequency of cyber attacks means organisations, especially those in finance cannot be complacent. Organisations need to be vigilant in their measures to avoid being targeted, but they must also have a robust plan in place if they are.

This event is being hosted by Marsh & McLennan in their stunning new offices in Commercial Bay. Networking will take place before and after the presentations, with plenty of opportunity for questions and further discussion with the speakers afterwards.

  • 5:00 – 5:30pm – Meet and greet with drinks and canapes
  • 5:30 – 5:40om – How Covid played a role in recent attacks – James Brown, FinTechNZ
  • 5:40 – 7:15pm – Speakers presentations
  • 7:15 – 7:5pm – Drinks and Canapes
