WEBINAR & VIRTUAL: The Importance of Digital Identity in New Zealand’s Health System

This is an event run in partnership with NZHIT

This is NZHIT’s first in-person networking event since before lockdown and we are also pleased to offer the option of joining virtually via Teams if you’re not able to physically attend on the night.

NZ Health IT (NZHIT) and Digital Identity NZ (DINZ) have partnered to provide members, stakeholders and policymakers the opportunity to understand the growing importance, challenges and potential associated with digital identity and New Zealand’s health, disability and social sectors.

Keynote speakers are to be announced soon and will include:

Peter Marks, Manager Architecture & Standards, Digital Strategy & Investment, Ministry of Health“ Digital Identity in relation to the MOH’s response to Covid-19”

Shayne Hunter, Deputy Director General Data & Digital, Ministry of Health – “The importance of Digital Identity and its future in NZ’s health system” (joining via Teams)

Russell Craig, Chief Technology Officer, Microsoft NZ and NZHIT Board Member (elected) – “Modern Digital Identity as an enabler of a secure, consumer-centric, digital health system” (joining via Teams)
