Despite the 11,000 miles of land and sea that separate Scotland and New Zealand, the cultural and economic synergies between the two countries are clear. Inverness Chamber of Commerce (ICC) are hosting a virtual trade mission to Auckland, Tauranga and Waikato w/c 14th November 2022.

The aim of the mission is to give both companies from Scotland and New Zealand the opportunity to widen their business connections whilst at the same time promoting investment opportunities across a variety of industries in both countries.

There are particular opportunities for a variety of sectors including Food & Drink; Technology & Innovation; Life Science & Digital Health; Aquaculture and Marine. Supported by the Scottish Government and Scottish Chambers of Commerce network, Inverness Chamber of Commerce are delighted to be working with stakeholders including Tauranga Chamber of Commerce, Auckland Business Chamber and Waikato University to deliver this trade mission.

As part of the trade mission, we will be hosting a networking workshop on 17th November 2022 (UK) / 18th November (NZ). We are pleased to extend an invitation to businesses and individuals within the regions of Auckland, Tauranga and Waikato to participate in this networking session. Our delegation will consist of Scottish companies across a range of sectors looking to make connections within New Zealand in the hopes that this will help them with their long-term ambitions of doing business in the market. These online conversations and connections between the two countries will be of mutual benefit to the visiting Scottish businesses as well as businesses and organisations based in New Zealand.
