Industry 4.0: Mixed Reality for Intuitive Robotic Interaction

This system takes human operators out of unpleasant working environments by equipping robots with human intelligence

Mixed Reality (MR) for the intuitive robotic operation has attracted attention due to its broad applications in industry, agriculture, medicine …

A demonstration of this advanced technology has been developed in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury.

We will start with a brief overview of the technology to give the audience a basic understanding of the system;

then the audience will watch a demo and have the opportunity to play with MR and remote robotic operations.

Each event will have a limited capacity of 15 and the same event will repeat 3 times.
