The RedShield Story: Competing on the Global Stage from NZ

NZSA are delighted to have Andy Prow, the CEO and Co-Founder of RedShield Security as their guest speaker for the final event of the year.

RedShield is a globally expanding cyber-security company, winner of two HiTech Awards in 2017, and the iSANZ InfoSec Company of the Year 2016, to name a few. Andy is the winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 Services Business category.

Andy will be presenting the RedShield story so far. From a BSC Hons in Computer Science and Software Engineering, to software development roles at Vodafone, IBM, Telecom and small start-ups, to starting and selling Aura InfoSec (one of NZ’s leading pen-testing companies) to starting and now expanding a multi-million dollar, world leading cyber security business.

It’s a story that starts with a couple of guys in a garage, and includes lots of code, a few drinks, and an Aston Martin. The journey includes many sleepless nights, hundreds of thousands of air-miles, some epic mistakes and most importantly some great wins.
